Against Brighton, Salah provided an assist for Hugo Ekitike's second goal, helping Liverpool secure a crucial three points.
When asked about his decision to recall Salah, Slot mentioned that it was a straightforward choice, highlighting Salah's continued threat to the opposing team.
"I think he was a threat," Slot said.
"The first ball he touched, he almost made an assist for Mac Allister. He was constantly involved in the fact that we had Mo. It was pleasing to see, but not a surprise."
Slot also emphasized the importance of having Salah back in the squad, citing his assist in the 2-0 win.
He added that with Salah's absence due to the African Cup of Nations, Liverpool had lost another player, which was something they had anticipated before the season started.
