To earn a place in the squad, Agbonlahor thinks Foden needs to regain his form from the previous season, when he scored 19 Premier League goals and provided eight assists in 35 appearances.

Agbonlahor also mentioned that there are many other talented players competing for spots on the left and right sides of the England team, including Marcus Rashford, Anthony Gordon, and Bukayo Saka.

He suggested that Cole Palmer might have a better chance of making the squad than Foden, given the current competition for places.

Agbonlahor's comments come as England prepares to face various teams in the World Cup qualifiers.
