An agreement was previously reached with Turkish club Kayserispor for Mather to join on a loan deal, but the transfer was cancelled on deadline day.

Despite this, Mather is reportedly in talks with an unnamed club from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Pro League.

The proposed move would be a straight loan arrangement, allowing Mather to join the UAE club without a permanent transfer.

The UAE club is also set to participate in the Asian Champions League for the upcoming season.
